whoa. what an insane last few weeks. spirit week was awesome! First, we had "i wish i were..." Day (dress up as something you wish you could be). we dressed up as Sour Patch Kids. (the candy... in case you don't know what that is). The next day was Decade Day (9th grade- 50s, 10th grade- 60s, 11th grade-70s, 12th grade- 80s) It was majorly fun to dress up as hippies for the day! Then we had class color day. Sophomores (10th grade) are orange! it was like a giant mob of kids dressed in orange. The last day was Spirit Day. We all just wear school colors and run around and eat cotton candy. The week was awesome and then we finally all got to enjoy homecoming. (which was adorable) All of my friends ended up hooking up with their dates, except me! as always. But it was cute. i'm so happy for everybody (:
If you want to see pictures from spirit week, click here. As you can see, its like the same 3 girls with me in all the pictures. haha...yeahh we're kinda close.
I started a class for lifeguard training last Friday. It's...hard. But i'll be ok. I'm friends with a lot of the lifeguards at my pool so i really wanted to do this! i have two more classes left and i really need to pass. I am totally confident that i could save someone if i had to, but lets face it, my pool has like 10 members and i know all of them!
Site-wise, i obviously have been pretty MIA lately. so sorry! i'm getting back on though. I have a new layout (: With blake lively and leighton meester, who are SO pretty. I also got a new affiliate, so check out Maison! Also, there are some new songs on the music player. I'm gonna add some more content this week so make sure to keep an eye out!
P.S.- I added "Ever Fallen In Love" By the Stiff Dylans (From the confessions of Georgia Nicholson Angus Thongs and perfect snogging!) to the music player. The movie hasn't come out in the US yet, but i watched it online! The books are absolutely the most hilarious things ever printed so you should definitely check them out here. BEWARE- this series' books have quite strange names, so i DO NOT reccommend getting them from the library unless you don't mind the look on the librarians face when she sees you are checking out a book called, "Dancing in my nuddy pants".
Questions
1. Do you have spirit week at your school? if so, what do you do?
2. Have you seen Angus, Thongs, and Perfect Snogging? (the movie) or read the books?
3. Has a librarian ever looked at you judgmentally when they see the books you are checking out?
